Your 1&1 DSL connection from order to activation

• After you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation along with your 1&1 customer ID and details about your order. Please let us know right away if anything is incorrect or incomplete.

• Next up, your 1&1 DSL order is being processed. First we have to verify if DSL is technically possible at your desired location. This is done using the area dialling code of the location where you want to use DSL.
  
  Feel free to check on the status of you DSL order using the status page or call the free number 0800 1000 522. You only need your 1&1 customer ID to learn more.

• Once the anticipated date of your DSL connection is set, you will receive an email containing your new telephone numbers, the anticipated activation date and in some cases the designated appointment time of a service technician.
  
  A service technician is required to check your DSL connection on-site. The time and date of the service technician is being arranged by us for you. You will always be informed by us about each and every step.

• You will receive your 1&1 Starterpaket (1&1 starter package) a week before the day of your DSL connection. This package contains your 1&1 DSL-Router, your DSL access data and is being delivered either by DHL, GLS or Hermes.
  
  As soon as your 1&1 Starterpaket is on the way, you will receive an email with a shipping ID to keep track of your parcel online.

• On the day of your DSL connection, DSL is either remotely activated or a service technician will establish the connection at your location. If not already done, please connect your 1&1 DSL-Router and all the other devices to the 1&1 DSL-Router.
